This goofy little cartoon is my response to a particularly obnoxious group of Eponine fangirls in the Les Miz forum.

Don't get me wrong, I like Eponine, but I like her because she's a psychotic little waif with actual human tendencies, NOT because she's "the perfect heroine", "such a survivor", or because I "can soooo relate to her". Because she isn't, she didn't, and I don't.

I like the way Eponine turned out in this one. Marius, however, looks like the result of a love affair between Howie Mandell and a Keebler Elf.

I can't tell you how much I'm loving this drawing. The fact that I can almost hear the inane giggle of an Eponine fangirly when I look at it is horrifying. This is a bad thing but in a good way. ;-) (Wink) And the Marius is really very good as well. A Peter-esque quality. (and you know that's the highest compliment I can give to, well, anything). A job well done. A clear message that had me cracking up. You're too awesome. :-) (Smile)

heh, I can just hear him going "Oh lord, save me from the fangirlism. WHY did Hugo have to give me such passionate nostrils?!"

Well...you said what i was thinking - eponine's songs are cool, face it she has the best songs, but herself - she nice and all but the buttom line she is a little pest. And Marius...He looks just like Marius.
So the point is - COOL !!!
